"People need to hear Jessi's voice. She is an artist who sings with a sincerity that will melt people's souls. Mine did." "(Jessi Hamilton) has a really beautiful voice . . . It is reminiscent of both Stevie Nicks and Madonna." "I am honored to be working with Jessi Hamilton. These are great songs with very strong melodies. She is a remarkable talent." "Jessi Hamilton is living proof that there are still musical artists out there who are individually evolved rather than mass-produced." "Don't be fooled! Jessi Hamilton is not some gorgeous fashion model who wants to be a singer. Ok, the gorgeous part is true, but trust me, this girl can sing! And she's a quirky, intelligent songwriter too. You'll be glad you were introduced to Jessi Hamilton."

Story behind the song
Land of Illusion is about all of the children out there who never are given a chance by society.
Lyrics
Little girl, will you ever let the world in? Lonely child, crying without a friend Why are you so bitter? You never made yourself known You say your thoughts to God alone Little girl, will you ever let the world in? Little boy, did innocence end too soon? A father's hand betrayed the trust in you Why are you so bitter? You say you brought it on yourself You speak your mind with thoughts of no one else Little boy, did innocence end too soon? PRECHORUS: And we say the choices they made have led them to where they are now But when does the world step in and raise up the child that's fallen down? There's so much we can do - it's right there before our eyes But our arms remain by our sides CHORUS: In this land of illusion, so much conclusion when we first open our eyes They dream of tomorrow, but only sorrow is what's realized BRIDGE PRECHORUS CHORUS
