memorys grow dim fading into grey leading to the grounds where children used to play looking for the sand thats splits us from the sea and the boats upon the water could come and rescue me the sand beneth my feet grows softer all the time when reaching for a dream that could never be mine as i look upon the boats as they float upon the sea i stand upon a beach that will someday swallow me and i dreamed of a sky that was red the fires fall into the sea the blood upon the beaches was flowing out of me i faulter as i raise my hands and i slowly forget my name and the burning upon my face i only have myself to blame i scream out in my own voice but it sounds nothing like me and the water starts to rise now im standing in the sea the fires have started to quell and all the blood has washed away i am growing colder now and in the sea is where ill stay
