I use multi trak recording to play all the instruments and construct a one man band. I play Christian Country Pop Rock Folk Electronic music.
Thanks to all the soundclick fans. It's great to have a group of fans who are musicians themselves and always ready to encourage everyone who is practicing hard to get and give the most from their music. Story behind the song
i just wanted to make a tune using all those cliched sounds that used to be great back in the 80s. Why? Who knows. Scratching, pitch shifted samples, rezzaps, hiQs, Casio CZ xylophone, orchestra stabs, analog rez bass, sampled vocal, thick stacked analog leads, analog drums, rez sweep pad, a progression one (1) chord long, plus a beat and you can dance to it. i came up with an interesting way to do the scratches. Instead of wrecking a record player, I took a sheet of cardboard, wrapped it in canvas and held a cheap mic against it while i scratched the canvas with a wooden dowel. Run the results through a few effects and walla. Sounds awful but there's an old record player out their somewhere thanking me.
