High energy pop/rock
Most people immediately think blues when hearing "Albert Hill". Surprisingly, there was a four piece high energy rock band from Spartanburg, SC that went by the name "Albert Hill" in the mid to late 90's who released three independent records before disbanding in 1999. Three members from Albert Hill went on to form another group in early 2000 called Dezeray's Hammer. Two of the founding members are currently writing and producing new music from their studio in Spartanburg, SC. The music of Albert Hill remains a priority and many will agree that these songs written and recorded in a cramped bedroom studio in 1994-95 still hold up today.

Story behind the song
Song was inspired after pulling up at a red light one afternoon beside a truck carrying 9 or 10 drunk idiots acting cocky towards my friend. My friend, being alone, decided it was in his best interest to keep his mouth shut. Needless to say he was very angry and wrote "fistorfinger" refering to the little birdy he sent as he got out of there!
