Story behind the song
In a recent thread on the Fender Discussion Page about using string instrument bows on electric guitar I wondered aloud on using something small, maybe even as small as dental floss holder to bow a string. Today I tried it, using a small dental floss holding pick. I'm bowing the low E string of a Telecaster keeping a steady but rapid motion going with my micro-bow down near the bridge in the droning sound that is panned left. To add a little more harmonic content, I added a loop of acoustic guitar in this short sample. I've now posted a longer mix using the flossbow guitar. See Flossbow 2.
