Lyrics
My mom and a dad They worked hard to raise me right I haven't always been the man They hoped I'd turn out like But I've done alright I've only got one friend I can call in the middle of the night But I know that they'd come running Without questioning why I guess I've done alright I go to church I don't sing up in the choir But I still pray Sitting way back in the very last aisle My lifes been far from perfect But when it leads me to the other side I hope I'll hear someone say.....You've done alright I've been in love And I've watched it say goodbye But just the thought of those sweet kisses Still makes me smile Yeah I guess I've done alright I go to church I don't sing up in the choir But I still pray Sitting way back in the very last aisle My lifes been far from perfect But when it leads me to the other side I hope I'll hear someone say.....You've done alright You've done alright My mom and dad They worked hard to raise me right
