a song about the aftermath of math and perhaps the most important thing to know is that I am on a "path" and I see the "road" is dead

Story behind the song
How can a tear not be "wet"? Well cry long enough and you'll know. But in this song the dry tear is a metaphor referring to genetically modified fruit.
Lyrics
As I wandered down this path I saw the fork was dead I looked down, and I believed It must be from the math Turn my head in mystery It shocked my eyes to see The tree right there did have a tear And I sensed it was not free Oh tree it just cant be So Turn around and dont forget The tear that was not wet Close my mouth to stop the air This taste is everywhere These thoughts of numbers in a wrath It must be from the math Beware with each step I take Will the journey slow when nothing shows The wind that would not blow A fantasy this path would end And I would find a friend But on a hill, I got a chill When I saw my path again So here I go again Then the thought occurred to me This is the aftermath Surely I will find the end All I need is a little time Tell me that you'd do it again And a friend is at the end 'Cause on a hill, I got a chill When I saw my path again So here I go again

Nice mellow offering, good different style for you. Nice chorusy guitar picking. I liked the mention of "fuzzy math." Ironically it was fuzzy math that got a certain clown elected.

Ah, the battle between the heart and mind, neither of which are able to fully fathom the other's language. The primary source of man's apparent inertia to deal with the things that really matter. This works for me because you have taken a surreal approach to the lyrical content which perfectly demonstrates this battle- the meaning is trapped in conflict. Five stars, my man! Mike
