This is a lovely song, guitar parts original written by Andrew, though played by Jamie on this recording (Andrew on keys) vocals are Luke and Andrew, but with Susanna adding a particularly lovely female touch to it!
Originating from North Devon, Instinct is an exciting young rock band who drive tremendous on-stage energy through their inspirational songs. The music is their own brand of highly energetic "millennium rock" with strong melodies and powerful hooks. The live show is soaked in energetic feeling, producing all out high energy rock, good time party tunes and the occasional power ballad! Check out the songs to download, the highly infectious "Searching" has one of those choruses you'll never forget, whilst the highly energetic "Otherside" and the powerful "Don't Let Go" hint at the excitment and energy of the live performances. The latest album, "LIVE LIFE" consists of 12 original compositions and is available for sale in Devon music shops, at gigs and also by direct sale from this website.

Lyrics
Prisoner Words and Music By Luke Mitchell and Andrew Willmer How can I find my way through another day like this When all I see is pain Can’t figure out thoughts that circle through my head I’m kicking my self down About all the things I’ve said So what happens now What have I done It seems theres no way out cos I’ve believed it for too long We are holding on like the feeling was so strong Like the prisoner in my mind makes me feels so confined We are holding on like the feeling was so strong Like the dreams inside my mind make me feel I’m alive I cried for you When I took your life I left you all alone and scared so crushed and unprepared I failed to see what you really meant to me A life of wrong a life of pride I left you on the other side There’s no use pretending that I’ve lost the light in day I need you to listen and grow stronger every day
