Scarlet Eclipse is an up-and-coming Symphonic Rock band formed recently in Singapore.
Scarlet Eclipse is a Symphonic Rock band from Singapore. Founded recently in June 2007 by award-winning composer Davyd Chong, the band performed their debut song "In Between" at the 1st Compass Musical Extravaganza 2007 in Singapore, held at the Chamber of the Arts House. They are currently in the midst of producing their first album.

Story behind the song
"I Will Rise" was inspired by a story that came to light in the papers in which a lady from China shared her tale of pain. Born into an oppresive culture that would give anything for their one child to be a male heir, she is just one of the millions of women rejected, unloved, and almost brutally murdered by their families. Her grandparents tried to kill her as an infant by inserting many needles into her veins in secrecy, but she survived. Now into adulthood, she has the physical scars of these needles running through her veins, as well as the emotional scars. In this song, the woman chooses to be the beginning of a revolution to stand the tide of this cruel practice by letting her own daughter live.
