I was born and raised in Michigan and began writing music and playing guitar as a freshman in high school. Now, as a freshman in college, I am working on the release of my first album with producer Chip Stead and my father, Rod Raymond.
Lyrics
AVERAGE GIRL
You know they walk among us, anger, jealousy and greed.
They might be in your best friend, ‘cause I know they’re in me.
Ooh…
It’s not so picture perfect, in this reality.
‘Cause hey we’re only human, no need for feelin’ guilty.
Yeah…
You know I’ve said I was a Christian, but I never pray to God,
I’ve said I’m not a liar, but I know the things I’ve done.
Some say I’m a weirdo, lost in my own world,
But I know that I’m just, an average girl.
I do what makes me happy, sometimes happy makes me wrong.
No matter how you see it, the past is gone.
Ooh…
I know the path I’m taking, I know some won’t agree.
I know some people hate the things, the things that make up me.
Oh…
You know I’ve said I was a Christian, but I never pray to God,
I’ve said I’m not a liar, but I know the things I’ve done.
Some say I’m a weirdo, lost in my own world,
But I know that I’m just, an average girl.
I have said I was a fighter, but I know I’ve given in,
I know I’ve said a lot of things, I’ll never say again.
Some say I’m a weirdo, lost in my own world,
And I know that I...
I have said I was a Christian, but I never pray to God,
I’ve said I’m not a liar, but I know the things I’ve done.
Oh, some say I’m a weirdo, lost in my own world,
But I know that I’m just, an average girl,
An average girl.
