Story behind the song
The original chorus was written by Sharphol / Mogard about two years ago (very talented songwriters / producers from Norway -- see them on my top friends list at www.myspace.com/joelirwin). They gave me the song last Oct 07 to complete the verses and bridge and do the arrangement for a live performance. A very talented singer and lyricist, Bree Noble (who you hear on Ballerina Beautiful) wrote the lyrics and sings the studio version. The premiere live performance with two vocalists and 8 performers was performed in Houston on Tue. night April 29th, 2008. You can watch the video here in my video section. This is the studio version which includes English Horn and Violin I, Violin II, and Viola Sections as well a childrens choir. It will be used as the studio arrangement and possibly for a live performance at a very 'musical high school' here in Houston in the Fall.
