Blistering SF Bay area metal with a side of fries.
Story behind the song
It's about the great violin virtuoso Nicolo Paganini (October 27, 1782 – May 27, 1840) and how people in his time ignorantly perceived his mastery of the instrument as having been the result of a pact he is said to have made with the devil - a ridiculous yet powerful misconception that still lingers to this day. His innovative style radically changed the face of music forever and his is influence so widespread it can even be distinctly heard in the playing of some of today's greatest rock and metal lead guitarists.
Lyrics
Stay back
for what seems to be white could soon turn black
for centuries he's blown our minds away
he ruled back then and still keeps us on track
the wizard sets the standard to this day
Don't be afraid to see the show
he'll be around forever, by the river
Niccolo, thy deliver
They claim he signed his name in blood to buy his fame
for centuries we've heard these tales of hell
some try desperately to clear his name
to this day we still can't break the spell
Don't be afraid to see the show
he'll be around forever, by the river
Niccolo, thy deliver
Take flight
for what seems to be black could soon turn white
for centuries his skill has topped them all
listen close and you'll hear him tonight
the wizard's here for good to rock you all
Don't be afraid to see the show
he'll be around forever
he'll be around forever
