I'm a metal fan and musician from way back in the day. In the late 80's I played guitar for several local punk and thrash bands. I've been playing guitar for over 20 years, and I've been producing for 4 years. After a long stint away from metal, I got the itch to come back to it. So this is my metal project, "Shreds of Black Cloud." I play all the instruments except the drums, which are programmed. I try to program the drums so that they sound like a real drummer is playing them. I do the vocals for each song, but I'm really not that great at it. I'm looking for experienced vocalists who have the proper recording equipment. If any of you vocalists out there want to join me in this project, let me know. I write lyrics and have a lot of song concepts. I kind of prefer it that way, me writing all the lyrics that is, but I'm open. This project is about otherworldly places, the supernatural, other realms. I guess you could call it a bit Gothic, and symphonic too. The songs here are subject to change, depends on how happy I am with the mixes. I'll be refining my recording and mixing process. Finding what works and doesn't work.

Lyrics
toward the hills of the north I go to seek the place I've heard told in books in myth, in ancient scroll within my dreams I did behold Place of spindly barren trees and jagged rocks a cold wind blows chills the bones place of the calling gaze into the sky see the swirling mass hear it beckon this unearthly sound never heard before untill now shadows of what is to come a glimpse into the beyond the elders say this ground is cursed forbidding all passage here but I fear not this place I am drawn to it and transfixed as I stand in the circle of ascension gaze into the eyes of azreal who glares at me with unknowing realizing my time is not at hand still, I feel his dread power weakening me draining my life force I must look, look away. aaahhhhhhhh!
