Imagine reading the paper and seeing an ad for a used tomb for sale. An imaginary story about something that really could have happened.

One Slightly Used Tomb for Sale In an early morning paper about 2000 years ago, Way back in the classified, there in the second row, Was the strangest advertisement — it could make a strong man pale. No mistake, it simply read: One used tomb for sale. Chorus One tomb, used slightly, but only for three days. Then the man who occupied it he got up and walked away. The stone was moved, I don’t know how, I promise you it’s empty now. I’ve got one slightly used tomb for sale. Verse Two I gave it to a Friend of mine Who’d just been crucified. I knew that He would need it, for I watched Him as He died. We placed His lifeless body on a shelf so deep within, Then we placed a stone across the door that couldn’t be moved by men. Verse Three “It is finished,” we all thought. That’s what we heard Him say. As He yielded to the Father, and His life just ebbed away. But the tomb holds forth a victory, for there’s no one there, my friend. Death is what was finished, life in Christ will never end.
