Story behind the song
John Flaherty asked me to sing this song with him at a conference. I feel in love with it. This story not only speaks the words of the bondage of the hebrews, but more importantly, it is a glorious praise to God for helping all of us break from what binds us. I am proud to be the first person to record this fabulous song.
Lyrics
Chorus: I will sing to the Lord! Our God is Gloriously triumphant! Horse and chariot are cast to the sea. My strength, my courage, my hope you have been my savior. My Lord, Abba, I praise your name forever more. (to chorus) You redeem your people and you plant them on your mountain. Jerusalem, Holy dwelling. Lord, you reign forever more. (to chorus) Your hands part the waters, your breath the seas obey. Lord God, of wonder I praise your name forever more. (to chorus)
