Hi, I've been writing songs since I was twelve years old, and recording them since 1985. Roger Cook (of the Cook-Greenaway-Cook songwriting partnership and Blue Mink, etc) once wrote that I have the ability to write a hit single and that he was waiting for one from me. He also said I need to 'lighten up a bit', unquote. F*ck that!

Story behind the song
I played my tune 'Bygones' to my neighbour Diane. She said that I should let the ladies have their say, and I replied that if she wanted to write some new words for it, go right ahead. So we wrote a new lyric for it together, this time for the ladies. But I think this version lacks the rapier-like wit of the original (but then I would say that, wouldn't I?).
