When my youngest daughter Grace, who was an excellent clarinetist, was in her last year at high school she was required to do an arrangement of Silent Night for clarinet, flute and piano as part of her exam in music. She got a higher grade distinction for it. Then after she'd graduated her former teacher invited her to perform it at the school's Christmas concert with her on clarinet, another student on flute and the music teacher on piano. It was very well received as also was an arrangement that I'd given the teacher of another of my Christmas pieces: Peace and goodwill, performed as a duet by 2 excellent sopranos accompanied by the flutist and music teacher on piano. She gave us a video recording of the whole concert but unfortunately it has long gone.
