Story behind the song
Written from the perspective of the last Man on Earth talking to Mother Earth, apologising for the mess Man made. Mother Earth speaks back & chastises Man for taking for granted everything she gave.
Lyrics
You will be free, when I am gone. Free to breathe, and grow strong. Mother, I'm The Last Man On Earth. You changed me, like you hated me, how I nurtured and loved you all. You took from me, your graves in me. You traded your lives for my soul. Last Man On Earth. Free, when I am gone. Mother, I'm The Last Man On Earth. How long, could you go. How long.

The music was a bit loud for me in my left ear. But with the subject matter and those intense lyrics. It works out well. I just posted a photo collage on my soundclick page. Check it out. I call it the Hunt Family Collage. But the theme is mother nature and our relationship to her. The words framing the collage... "I am mother of me you were born, of my bounty you may eat. At your day's end you shall return to me and be born anew."
