"Weather its Trip-Hop, Pop, Trance, Reggae, Drum and Bass, Hip-Hop, Folk or just plain Rock and Roll, Jonathan Ammons has probably produced it. His diverse tastes and unique style has given him a name in local circles and in various nooks and crannies across the net. With roots planted heavily in electronic and ambient music, and with no formal music training, Ammons has achieved surprisingly remarkable results." --ATS : Awakening

Story behind the song
Just before graduation, Nathan Carlson came to me and had this idea to do a song for the senior slideshow. He came to me with it and I was blown away, it was just a great, solid song! So we got together for a couple hours over a couple of days and came up with this song just in time for our graduation ceremony. To all my fellow alumni, here it is, and God bless! Thanks so much to Nathan for this one! It was all you! Jonathan Ammons--Vocals and D'jembe Nathan Carlson--Guitars
Lyrics
Sometimes you can fly, But lets take this slow. I'm not ready to leave, but I'm ready to go. Learn to hold on And just let it flow. This place hasn't changed, Been the same for years. Now I tie up tight Memories time has smeared. Get me out of this place And on with my fears. Hold me now as I pull away I am going to fly far to the west. A rebellious child, some would say, Trading what I know for what is best Trading what I know for what is best. Fight off the change, As long as you stand, Take a look back As life pours through your hand. Take mine now As we run through this land. Hold me now as I pull away, I am going to fly far to the west. I am moving on my restless way Trading what I know for what is best Trading what I know for what is best.
