Story behind the song
Evan Schafer - acoustic guitar, vocals There are 5 "guitar tracks" on 'Maya' total. This was the second that I wrote and recorded. I wanted a totally wacked out guitar tuning for this one -- so I experimented and eventually landed on the unorthodox tuning of EADEAE. It is also one of the most technically difficult songs that I've ever written.
