I'm easily inspired either by personal experiences, things said in conversation, being given a challenge, or being moved or amused by something. Many genres.

Story behind the song
Sung beautifully I think by Sarah White
Lyrics
As dawn broke through, The birds sang a pretty song, For anyone, anyone to hear. The singer in the nightclub Called the shots, with a hot rendition, Sensual and clear for everyone to hear. CHORUS But the boy sang just for me, The boy sang just for me, And as God is my witness, We were eye to eye, soul to soul, Heart to heart, strong and free, 'Cause he once sang his love song.. Only for me. Time moved on, hed nothing left to lose, Time moved on, the audience approved. (ALTERNATE LYRICS) Time moved on, I finally knew the score, Time moved on, he sang for me no more. I loved this song. It is unusual as you say but wonderfully so. Sarah does it justice...those high notes sorta scare me when i feel them coming, thinking what a total disaster they would be for me and many others. She nails them...and the harmonies are a delight. Very well written and the musical arrangement is perfect. Easy 5 stars!
