Everybody and their brother is doing it now: writing, performing and recording at home. I do it, and, in fact, my brother does too. In my case, I play guitar, bass, dabble with keyboards, mandolin, and banjo, and sing. Furthermore, I've even built two my guitars and a bass, that last of which I gave to my brother. I do it all for fun and the love of music, with no commercial aspirations whatsoever.. My gratitude to the people at the Cakewalk Forum for all their valuable advice and criticism.

Lyrics
I don’t break down in the daytime Only when the lights are drawn tight While the sun shines I seem just fine Trouble comes with fall of the night Between dawn and dusk I hold together Observe the daily rituals that I’ve learned As evening draws on nigh I come untethered The bridge to the material world is burned Things that I see when I’m dreaming Where nothing remains as it seems Out on the edge of my vision Where shadows slowly shift out of sight A shape before my eyes as an apparition Moves just like a ghost out of the light These things I see when I’m sleeping Where nothing remains as it seems Floating upon clouds of persuasion Freed from the bonds of this world Sailing through the doors of perception I fly like a banner unfurled
