Born in the Rotten Apple (Brooklyn, NY) bred in the City of Trees (New Haven, CT) I am, God's Gift to Hip Hop, Savior of the Streets, King of all the Kingpins
Introducing Ace Brown, but you can call him God's Gift to Hip Hop Born in Brooklyn NY, he was moved to New Haven CT at a young age. Traveling up and down the east coast, since an early age has allowed him to soak up music from a lot of different sources which comes across in his style. There is no pigeon hole he can be put in when it comes to his music. Ace Brown is the Rotten Apple born Elm City bred EmCee Hip Hop has been waiting for. Since he grew up on the streets his music always has that street edge to it so you can hear the references to hustling, guns and the drug game. Also being a deep and introspective artist his lyrics force you to listen, when he talks about his struggles, victories, and views on family and life in general. Of course he can spit battle rhymes also, because a big part of honing his skills came not by way of the studio, but on the corner whenever he was called out to battle. First introduced as a part of the super group the Madd Trife Clique based in New Haven CT, he went on to start a group with his brother known as the Nasty Pac and then part of the group Nothing To Lose, he is now ready to venture out as a solo artist. Recording 3 studio albums with his different groups, a solo EP and performing at venues in the US and Europe, gives him a presence on the mic that will keep you listening. Get ready from the Rotten Apple to the City of Trees, here is God's Gift to Hip Hop, listen and agree.

Story behind the song
I started writing this song, right after I took a big loss in a legit business that I started. All of business ventures I have started I ran using the things that I learned when I was hustlin. After the loss I had to do what I had to do, but It was a lot of animosity in the streets at the time. I wanted something you could nod your head to.. The Streets are like a mother that wants her child to fall so they can come back home and when they do fall she gets on you for trying to do something different.
Lyrics
Intro: People say yo Ace why do you keep doin the things you do the way you doin'em, and I say when I do the things that I do when I'm doin'em I don't do'em for me I do'em for yall. Hook: The streets keep callin the block keeps knockin at my door tell me should I answer it or Hell yeah if you need me hell no if you don't be easy I'm doin' it for yall "repeat"
