Story behind the song
When my mother first heard my songs for the first time a few months back she called me up a said something like "I was just listening to your songs, the words were beautiful, I could almost cry" and she was sniffing while she was saying this and right away the words "I sorry for the tears I made you cry" popped in my head {I didn't tell her that though}. That, and the fact that I wasn't exactly a saint when I was young.
