PRESENTING SASHO DIMITROV - MANDOLIN Sasho Dimitrov is one of the best mandolin players in Europe. For over 50 years he has been involved in teaching, and concert activities. He had concerts as a solo and a concert master in Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Germany, Finland, Netherlands, Yugoslavia, Spain, Russia etc. He is nominee at festivals in Poland, Netherlands, Spain, and Hungary. More than 30 years he has been working in bar-variety programs as a virtuous performer. Sasho Dimitrov has been invited to numerous conferences, exhibition opening, book introduction, business meetings, congresses, concerts for government functions diplomatic body, private celebrations etc. He is the only one Bulgarian, who has composed a concert for mandolin and strings orchestra The concert in G dur in three parts. Sasho Dimitrov’s diapason of repertoire includes from the Maller’s Symphonies, Vivaldi’s Concerts, Riding, Mozart, Beethoven, Y S Bash, Schubert, Shuman; Italian, Green, Spanish, Russian and Bulgarian folklore and country music. This is totaling of more than 1000 pieces. He is happy to perform by himself with accompany of piano on play back, or live piano player He has had numerous recitals as duo performance with piano. He has many records in the National and other Bulgarian Radio Stations and they are often on air. He had also interviews and performances on the few TV programs. To mention one significant appearance is that he was invited to play solo mandolin the Concert in C dur by A Vivaldy for mandolin and string orchestra, in honor of the 40 Birthday of the Sofia Soloists with conductor Prof. P Djurov the former Bulgarian Minister of Arts.
