the bunkbeds are jim higgins and the occasional guest players. home made indy rock lofi musings that doesn't take itself to seriously best describes the music and the band. everything recorded at home all on cheap n nasty equipment. the ultimate bedroom band. of late i have found myself collaborating with musicians the world over, predominantly with lyrics and vocals so if you have a tune banging around that you cant come up with lyrics for send it my way and i'll see if i can help.

there's a baby in the cornfield there's a black cat in it's pram i'm drunk lying in the gutter with a warm beer in my hand so i think back to my mother when she held me in her arms she gave me warmth and succor and protected me from harm now the doors are closed behind me i am lost without a key there's no one that i can blame yes it's all been down to me i have always had a temper i've been bad and i've been cruel an old has been who never was and prob'ly never will so try not to burn bridges and try to keep your friends nothings worse than being alone it always gets you in the end and don't go into cornfields
