Bob Childs: vocals, keyboards (piano, strings, French horn), bass guitar, drum programming, string arrangements.
I am a songwriter and musician, currently residing in Santa Barbara, California. My primary instruments are keyboards and bass guitar. I find songwriting and composing to be the most rewarding facet of being a musician. I enjoy the solitude of working in my home studio and the sense of satisfaction and accomplishment I feel after finishing a new song. I have also performed live in different types of groups over the years and enjoy the adrenaline rush that only performing live can bring.

Lyrics
"The Hardest Thing" Words & Music by Bob Childs. © Bob Childs 2002. All Rights Reserved. The hardest thing I've ever had to do Was breaking up with you I didn't want to do it But I knew I had to see it through And I'm sorry it had to end I lost not only my lover, I lost my best friend The last thing that I want to do is to hurt you, but I know I do The next thing that I want to do is to comfort you, And you know it's true I feel your heart is aching, and believe me, so is mine And it's gonna take some healing, and it's gonna take some time The hardest thing I'll ever do is leaving you Now we're heading down our separate roads Where they'll lead us, I don't know I'm never gonna forget you I'll hold your memory here in my heart It hurt so bad to see you go And these are things that you should know The last thing that I'd want to do is to hurt you, but I know I do And the next thing that I'd want to do is to comfort you, And you know it's true I feel your heart is breaking, and believe me, so is mine And it's gonna take some healing, and it's gonna take some time The hardest thing I'll ever do is leaving you, 'cause I still love you The hardest thing I'll ever do is leaving you
