Story behind the song
I wanted to write a song about how being in love with an "ordinary" guy without baggage can be a real blessing.

Your house is dark and dirty and youre getting kinda worried that youre laying there in silence with the wrong man And sometimes it feels like hes never around You know that the car wont fix itself but it would make your week to have the toilet seat put down. And dont be the first to the forget about me when you go into that hall and you find Dirty Laundry That dirty laundry Its late into the night now and the kids have got their lights out and you finally have some time to spend together. So you get those candles burning but youve really got some learning, you know, his idea of romance is sports center.
