The sky is blue,
The leaves are green
Beautiful sights remain unseen.
On the ground drops of dew
Glisten in iridescent hues.
Rocks crunch under my foot
As I stroll through the desert,
Chancing upon a friend named Esther.
I find a rock and remove my book.
Upon my rock
Time passes by.
I spot a hawk
And with relief I sigh.
The hawk glides on by,
And I bid it goodbye.
