A song about Jellybeans, simple!
Acoustic, rock, vocal
hello! Thanks for visiting my page and my music, I hope you enjoy!
(I'm aware that the quality of some of the songs themselves are below par but the recent stuff is much better!)
Story behind the song
Originally I recording the guitar part as a demo to come back to in the future. As I listened back to it I was trying to start some lyrics. I saw my jar of Jellybeans that I've had over a year now (unopened ;) ) and started to write a song trying to feature ALL of the beans in the Jar.
Eventually when I finished, I had some time to kill, and decided to give the recording a try.
The recording took probably about 50 tries, I was pushing myself to get the vocals as spot on as I could.
So two hours later, and a lot of singing (hence the "THANK YOU LORD!" at the end, I was eventually satisfied), this was the result.
Lyrics
There's a jellybean jar afar sat on my lower shelf
There's many flavours for you try so please help yourself,
I'd give you a list just to give you a gist, so no really it's fine,
Just don't have the strawberry ones because they are mine.
Raspberry, Wild Cherry and Sour Lemon
Liquorice, Grape and Root Beer's great, so's the Cinnamon
I think the Caribbean Coconut is not as nice as some,
Granny Smith Apple is similar to the Watermelon,
Majorca Tangerine is really sweet, try the Peachy Pie,
Island Punch is not as nice as the Lemon and Lime
Butter Popcorn and Crushed Pineapple,
South Seas Kiwi give them all to meme 'cos I'm not yet full
English Blackberry is better than the pink Bubblegum,
Warning: This jar may not contain the full selection,
Pina Colada is so much harder to find than the Blueberry,
I've gotta say I'm addicted to the Cotton Candy,
Pear Sundae and Banana Split are devine,
Toasted Marshmellow and Strawberry Cheesecake are too hard to rhyme!
*shakes the Jellybean jar*
cool song Tim :)
