Story behind the song
this song came directly from those with first hand experience of being in Nablus, in the west bank (palestine), for a little collegiate trip home, an education experience of lights out, cover up the windows, walls shaking oh my god we're getting bombed. there's nothing more real, except when you know there's no cushy college to go back to in the states, no one to save you from the fear and stench and dust - everywhere, all the time, dust and bricks. lots of bricks. it wasn't supposed to be anywhere near the fighting. no one ever knows where the fighting is when they say 'oh, it's not supposed to be any...blah blah blah.' there's war everywhere and peace starts here.

Well like procks sayd, the tape-recording is unimportant. The expression, feeling inside the song and the colour of your voice is great, and touches the heart! By the way, such music with some arangements belongs to my musical heartland.
