I play guitar and sing against backings that I have created using various software tools. I am therefore a home recorder primarily concerned with minting decent recordings of my own songs rather than a performer.
Story behind the song
Well I loved and learnt "Alice's Restaurant" by Arlo Guthrie when I was a student and these many years later I heard a song from the Wiyo's called "Baby If You Think I'm Crazy Bout You" using the same basic chord progressions. I finally got motivated to try my own rag using this key and I wanted it to be a tongue in cheek song. Hope I succeeded and someone enjoys it in the spirit intended, a piece of fun.
