Story behind the song
The full story and lyrics are located at the edited version of the track, labeled "ACCEPT." The initial idea was created in 1985 but forgotten until 1988, when this version was recorded one weekend in a burst of inspiration. Many times when I shopped this song in the late 80's to the dance labels, this was the version submitted and the one they liked the most. One more geargeek note: The Rhodes sound at the end was a Yamaha FB01. It only had 8-note polyphony, so I had to double up the part and detune it in order to give it a chorus effect.
