Just trying to put what's inside my head out for others to hear. I don't use any shortcuts what you hear is what i played .Every insturment !
I guess I am the band . i play guitar, mandolin, dobro, keyboards and am currently learning the fiddle. I'll admit that the fiddle is the most painfull insturment i have tried. Now, my house band -Louie (The Lazy Lizard) and The HousePets consist of -Louie (Crested Gecko) on lead vocals and ruthem guitar, Coco (the dog) Lead guitar , Keybords, and back-up vocals, Shady Kitty (Black cat) Bass and some vocals, and last but in this case least Katy Cricket and the Crickettes on fiddle and back-up vocals (The members of the Crickettes come and go as Louie has a bad habitt of eating them for lunch !

South Of Nashville D(10fret) A(9fret) Bm(7fret) Dsus4 6(no5) A(5fret) Bm(7fret) Here I sit in a truckstop south of Nashville . A haze of diesel smoke makes it feel unreal G C#m aug5 D DM7 D6 I just write these lines to kill the time 'Cause I've got some time to kill G A Bm(repeat cords next verse Sitting in this truckstop south of Nashville It seems like a million miles ago , I made my plans of getting off this road but i'm still chasein' down those white lines living behind the wheel another willing slave to the dollar bill . (Chorus) G A Bm G(3fret) D sus4 6 (no5) Bm(7fret) The waitress is hopeing i'm a tipper and the hustlers are all hopeing that i'll deal G A D DM7 D6 The hitchhiker on the corner looks like he's hopeing for a hero G A there's a hungry hound dog hopeing for a meal G A Bm( repeat cords for 2nd Chorus) We're all here in this truckstop south of Nashville A tour bus takes on fuel and the folks unload . Streatch ther legs and shiver in the cold . they're all headed for the Grand Ol' Opry show in the morning they'll all wake up at home I'll be under 40,000 pounds of steel, i'll have spent 500 miles behind the wheel and saved some poor soul the ordeal of thumbin' from this truckstop south of Nashville (2nd Chorus) The waitress smiles at the tip I give her . The hustlers all move off to play the field I just became one more hitchhiker's hero and a lucky dog gets what's left of his happy meal i log on and we're gone out of Nashville Copyright 2007 M.
