Once upon a time, on a warm November evening in the year 1867, And Old, Immortal man named Quincy lost his wife to smallpox and death. This loss had driven Quincy insane and so, as the natural course of events would have it; His grand-children put him in the care of a hospital psych ward. Being in a place so unforgiving made Quincy feel miserable, but not because he felt lonely. His misery was derived from both his feeling of boredem (although, if you asked him he would say "I've done everything I want to do) and the seperation he had from his final goal in his long life. He thought about it and planned for weeks and weeks and then finally, he attempted to end his life. (although, if you asked him what he did, he'de tell you he tried to visit his wife). Having failed suicide, Quincy was put on close observation. 'Suicide watch' as the residents of the hospital called it. He was forever a Man forced to watch his own life continue despite his noblest efforts, and he lived on for hundreds of years afterward until he was forgotten and helpless to control his own fate.
