This was the complimentary piece to another acid track I had made around the same time titled 'Congo', but this one pretty much failed me. The overall theme was to take two completely opposite geological climates of the earth and compose an acid track for each that would evoke a nice mental picture of them (sort of like any "exotica" album). I consider this one a failure only because nothing about the track really says taiga to me, my line of thinking on this track was off. It probably should have been slower, with more sustained notes and lots of reverb and/or echo, really sparse, but I went with a house beat and everything went downhill from there. I also slipped up in naming the both of them, but I'll get into that in the story for 'Congo', since I'm likely running out of space here.
