Story behind the song
This piano solo is part of a collection that reflect the feelings and emotional responses of King David as he approaches his reign over Israel and as King of God's people. Many of the Psalms were songs to be sung by the congregation as well as prayers for forgiveness and victory over many enemies. We can all relate to the life of King David in some way. From shepherd boy to warrior, harpist to king, we see God's providence in his life.
