As I examine different pieces of gear or software, I'll place my results here.
Story behind the song
* This is essentially a 10-bar loop.
* The first time through vocals are recorded through the Ozone preamp, guitar and bass DI into Ozone instrument input.
* The second time through everything is done the same, except through the 828mkII.
* The third time through it alternates between the two at every bar.
The bass is an Ibanez SR400, guitar is Fender Am Dlx Ash Strat, vocal is horrible.
There is no processing or reverb on these tracks except compression on the individual parts. Each set uses the exact same compression plugins (VC64 for bass and vocal, Sonitus for guitar) and settings. Both sets were tracked and mixed in Sonar.

If you can't figure these out, you need professional help. I ad-libbed these and it's pretty lame. Not the point of this exercise.
