Lake Fork Verne and his banjo. Original country and Americana songs. Songs of yesteryear, growing up during the great depression 1930's and the way things are
Just me and my banjo...writing and singing about how things used to be long ago in the 30;s and 40's and how those experiences affect today. I started out wanting to get on record these stories and songs for my grandchildren; but after doing it for a while, others have expresses interest so we are recording and putting them out there.

Hi There Verne! Your Banjo sounded really good in this song. I always enjoy hearing a new song from you. My Sweetheart Is A Mule In The Mines is a good one!! :) How have you been? I need to get over to easy folk and check out your page there also. I never seem to get on that site anymore. Good to hear another VG classic though.... Your Friend & Fan, Rosie
