He grabbed his guitar and began working with the idea, wrote the tune and lyrics in the morning, and recording instruments and vocals at his studio in the same afternoon with a funky mix by tea time! Christmas cake anyone? The lyrics capture the idea of couples in love but separated for whatever reason,(think soldiers, lorry drivers , travelling business people, and touring musicians etc, who will be re-united with their loved ones for Christmas, and if you are single then it could be with your gran!
