Allen Brennan was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago, IL. At an early, he was introduced by his parents (both played instruments) to a variety of music, from folk to hardrock, country, symphony or any other music in the family collection. While he was involved with music most of his life, his career as a songwriter really began when he moved to Nashville, TN in 2004 to study as an audio engineer, when he began to absorb some of the local sound and "intertwine it with his own."
