Story behind the song
Well, there were those guys from productionforums.com, who foolishly encouraged me to enter the song contest on their site, even though I was so totally not ready, yet. I was eventually gonna do a cover version of my favorite Bob Seger tune "Turn the Page", but that would have had to wait until 2008. So I had to resort to bugging an old band buddy of mine who has had a nice recording studio for many years and lives just a stone throw away. Thing is: I caught his "oompah music" bug when we sat down to record something. The lyrics basically popped (that's "popped", not "pooped") into my mind in a matter of about 30 minutes, give or take, and the whole recording was done in a matter of about 3 hours. Now get ready for this tune to get stuck in your head for days, once you listen to it. You have been warned!
