Story behind the song
when i was younger, an uncle of mine use to live with us. this uncle was my introduction into reflexology, spirituality and the vegetarian lifestyle at age 6. throughout the years, my uncle shared many valuable words from himself and others that i have come to live by. in middle school, he gave me a book called jonathan livingston seagull. this book is about a seagull that doesn't really fit in with the others and wants more out of his life but doesn't know where and how to get it. it explained my middle school experience to a tee. this song is special to me, because it always brings me back to those times i spent with my uncle and the world he opened my eyes to.
