Samantha Bennardo A.K.A Sicily was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. And currently resides in Tampa, Fl. Her musical roots were seeded by her maternal grandfather “Chillo” who played with Tito Puente in the 1950’s. Raised in a non-Christian Italian home Sicily began to fall in love with music. As her mother played 70's disco, jazz, mo-town R&B, Salsa and 80's hip-hop.Sicily took an early interest to Hip hop and rap. As she grew into her teenage years she started drinking and taking drugs. In that being said she started to have suicidal thoughts and problems with depression. At the Age of 17 she honestly gave her life to Christ and then began to rap only for the one who gave her, the gift to rap. In June of 2005 she was signed 2ice Born Records. Sicily recently droped her first debut album entitled "Tha God Daughter" in her home town Tampa, Florida and is now working on a national and international release in 2008. The God Daughter Album contains 7 unbelieveable Radio smash hits such as Run Away , Who Am I, Shake The Ground , etc..
