Phil Beare is a singer songwriter from the San Francisco Bay Area. He plays electric and acoustic guitars, bouzouki, mandolin, harmonica, banjitar, and various percussion instruments. He is currently with the band “Country Grunge”, Phil has finished his first solo album of urban-folk songs called "Strangely Familiar". Intelligent lyrics and interesting instrument choices are always the theme from this storyteller. The CD features originals and a few collaborations with some of the best indie songwriters in the Bay Area. It's now available for downloading at iTunes, Rhapsody, AmazonMP3.com, and Napster.
