Philosophers with Guitars
An eclectic genre blend covering a plethora of styles from Blues and Bluegrass to Rap, Rock and Metal. We believe in Freedom of Expression, Freedom of Speach, and we do not suffer from Lexiphobia (fear of words). We have some passionate opinions and we also just like to have fun saying things we know a lot of people would like to say but are too timid to do so. Sit back, relax, get into the spirit of the moment of the music and see what happens.

Lyrics
SEX AND MONEY SEX AND MONEY, That‘s what it‘s all about! Show me any human transaction Between a man and a woman, A man and a man, a woman and a woman; A goat, a pigeon and a dwarf; And any time you put two sentient beings together, Games will ensue, and as sure as excrement Is our main Gross National Byproduct, the prize Most sought after as a reward for manipulating Our behavior in a self-beneficial manner is SEX AND MONEY, in any order, shape or form. We are born with the predisposition to assume the position; Make hostile acquisitions, preposterous depositions Erotic, neurotic, despotic conditions for every situation That remotely relates to relinquishing or receiving The most profound payoff we short visioned creatures Can convince our bad selves we absolutely have to have! SEX AND MONEY, SEX AND MONEY; Say it with me: SEX AND MONEY- Now you can’t tell me it doesn’t feel good To say, ‘SEX AND MONEY’; It feels almost as good to say, ‘SEX AND MONEY’, As it does to have SEX AND MONEY, And sometimes the price for having SEX AND MONEY Is so high, it would be better just to say, ‘SEX AND MONEY’, Until you can come to grips with yourself And understand, the key to safe sex Is in the palm of you hand. Now money doesn’t grow on trees is one more vicious lie Fed to the mentally deprived masses by a handful Of greedy bastards, who already know that money Is made from wood, and with all the state of the art Technology available to us today, we can print our own Damn money, as long as we leave a few trees standing. So we can breathe long enough to spend it all. Did you know a bank is a condom for money? Government is a vehicle for redistributing wealth In a way that benefits those who need it the least! And the Stock Exchange is a finely tuned engine For huge Corporations to borrow vast sums of money Without being too concerned about paying it back. And speaking of getting screwed: How many unsuspecting souls use the Bible As a sex manual? Talk about holy headaches And a complete lack of oral sex! I wonder if Oral Roberts refrained from loose tongue Endeavors? Or if he’s anal retentive? Or works In his orifice? Or ever erroneously parks In an erogenous zone? Maybe it’s not healthy mental activity for me To think about self proclaimed saviors as dealers In the same dirty deeds as we potentially less worthy Subjects subject our abject selves to. But we do do each other over and over, And it bothers me to see pornography transpiring Without my prespiringly inspired participation. So please include me when you do the deed! Even if it’s only in spirit, I want it. And I want you to want it too. And I want you to want me. And I want the world to want what we all want: SEX AND MONEY! And I want all the wanters in the world To know, if we all want the same thing, Then basically, we‘re all the same; And if it‘s all the same to you, Let me do what I do, and I’ll do you, And you‘ll do me, and we‘ll do each other; And eventually, we‘re all done. © 2004 Classic Panasuk Music (BMI)
