Story behind the song
The hook and theme seemed to be inspired by the music. Deezil and our folk T-Marvles (Timothy McGill) put this beat together before I came along. It grabbed me as soon as heard it. I actually wrote the first two verses listening to my man R-Swift's "Undisputed." I tried them out over this beat and it felt like a match made in Heaven. Doing some work on the late-night I had to make a 711 run for some caffination of some sort. On the way over I just put the beat on and let it soak in. Before I got to the store it hit me. "This whole world's gonna burn, and man is appointed to die." By the time I got home the hook was done, and the final verse was soon to come. The first time KinDeezil and I got together to talk music, I put the beat on and spit this rhyme for him. From that point forward Deezil was sold on the movement, as was I.
Deezil had also been trying his hand at writing lyrics himself. He came up with something that complimented the rest of the song beautifully, so we dropped him in at verse two.
