Story behind the song
This is one of those songs where the lyrics seemed to be inspired by the music. Deezil put this beat together and I fell in love with it as soon as I heard it. Played it in the car stereo a few times to soak it in. The first verse kind of wrote itself as I was crusing along. It pretty much set the tone for the hook and the following verses. Just one of those things.
A loud opposition without true commitment to continue is almost vanity. A quiet refusal made in all sincerity, on the other hand, speaks volumes which quite simply cannot be fully measured in decibels.
