Story behind the song
There is a legend. A locket charm. From the Earth period 1970’s. Said to have been worn by a child stole way. A small glass vile on a chain, inside a treasure. A single seed, a remnant of Earth. Terrace appoaches “Electric City”. Difficult traffic as he tries to negotiate a landing. Lost in a tide of species. He keeps his head down avoiding contact. Looking for the Underside. A shop called “Kaberdine”. He finds the vile and returns to the surface, but not alone. Indentured life has left him with a tiny locator circuit that brings the authorities. The shop keeper tipped the authorities in a sting to capture Earth collectors. Later the necklace would return for the next treasure seeker. Terrace came prepared. He escapes with the vile. On his craft he leaves “Electric City”. Distant and alone he prepares to re-claim Earth.
