“Just Over Yonder” has been playing bluegrass gospel music since 1986. Starting at Bethel Bible Church in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, the JOY band has continued to lift up the name of Jesus Christ reaching out to those who don't know Him an encouraging those who do. “Just Over Yonder” is Scott De Vries on banjo, Gary Archer on guitar, Thier on mandolin, and Jeff De Vries on bass. Tight harmonies are one of the group's trademarks and four-part a cappella songs are often featured as they are some of the group's favorites. High energy, informal concerts show JOY's love for the mu enthusiasm for the gospel message. The band has enjoyed many successes, including recording seven albums. They have ministered throughout the Chicago land area, playing at missions, churches and prisons as well as bluegrass festivals. But group will be quick to give all the credit to Jesus Christ.
